Hanna and Sofia were asked to model for a little boutique called Designer Blvd. Hanna did excellent!

Hanna's 5th Birthday

On August 5th, Hanna's birthday, we hung out as a family, opened gifts and took Hanna to her favorite place for dinner....La Fonda, where she had her favorite dinner...bean burrito and rice! That's our girl....loving her Mexican food!

Wasn't it just yesterday that my mom was racing me to the hospital?

Wasn't it just yesterday that I heard her first cry?

Wasn't it just yesterday that Mike held his first born for hours and never said a word?

I blinked.

I took a nap.

I turned around.

And she's five.

How did that happen so fast?

She's grown like a weed, just before our eyes and we can't slow it down.

We can't stop time.

We can only pray for her, love her and raise her the best we can.

Five, five years old!

Hanna is loving and talkative.

She's an artist, who loves to work on projects.

She's my little secretary, who loves to type on the computer and write notes.

She's an organizer, who will spend hours deciding where things should go.

She's happy, funny and inquisitive.

She's a granddaughter, a niece and a big sister.

But, most importantly she my little girl!

Happy Birthday to the one who fills my heart with love!!!!

It's a Tooth!!!

My sweet baby popped her first tooth this afternoon! She woke up from her nap this afternoon, her happy, playful self and pulled for my finger to her mouth. This is not unusual, as she likes to chew on anything she can get her hands on. But, when I allowed her to put my finger in her mouth I felt something a little rough. Hmmmm, what the heck was in her mouth? I promptly laid her down on looked in her mouth...sure enough A TOOTH, bottom, left! It's just popped through, but it's there! I hollared for Mike and Hanna so they could both see! We all got excited and Sofia laughed, like she knew what was going on! Fun day at the Lindberg house!

Believe-A Holiday Boutique is Coming!!!

Believe-A Holiday Boutique is a shopping extravaganza that is held the first weekend of November each year at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. Kate McRae is a darling five year old, who, a month ago was just like our Hanna.....running, playing, loving life and then her hand had a slight tremor in it. She is now, laying in a hospital bed with a brain tumor. Her story has traveled beyond the United States, through celebraties and senators. And now, I share her story on my blog. I share it to beg of you to please, please pray for Kate. Pray for God's healing on the war that rages inside her tiny body. Pray for her family and her doctors. Hanna's Birthday Party

On Friday we had Hanna's 5th birthday party. We allowed her to invite 4 little girls and we did a craft party at Create Your Own Joy Studio. Kelly Hendrickson, the owner, did an awesome job! She completely outdid herself. Each little girl got a darling tute, that she made, then they each made a Princess Crown and a Princess Wand. A great time was had by all!

Everything was decorated for a Princess Party!

Kelly had made each of the girls their very own goodie bag!

Gigi came to help out with the party!

They worked on putting bling on little flowers that were to go on the crowns.

After the crowns and wands were made it was time for pictures!

Then it was time for cupcakes!

Then we headed off to Red Robin for dinner.

We met up with Mike and Sofia and the rest of the families.

Sofia thinks she's such a big girl...trying to sit up in her carseat!
