On Friday we had Hanna's 5th birthday party. We allowed her to invite 4 little girls and we did a craft party at Create Your Own Joy Studio. Kelly Hendrickson, the owner, did an awesome job! She completely outdid herself. Each little girl got a darling tute, that she made, then they each made a Princess Crown and a Princess Wand. A great time was had by all!

Then we headed off to Red Robin for dinner.
We met up with Mike and Sofia and the rest of the families.

My baby turned 6 months old on the 14th!!! Took her in for her 6mo. appt. and she weighed 11 pounds, 4 ounces (not on the charts, yes VERY tiny little thing!). She is 24 1/4 inches long. That's the third percentile.
She's a very happy baby that likes to chatter all the time! She loves her big sister and gets excited when the camera comes out. We couldn't be more blessed! Just wish time would slow down!!!!

We decided at almost 6 months, Sofia was ready for some solids. Since she has had NOTHING but breastmilk, we wondered what she'd think. I'm a firm believer that rice cereal/oatmeal is just empty calories so we started with avocado, which was Hanna's favorite. In the beginning she was just excited to be sitting up and smiling for the camera. She really didn't like the feel of the avocado in her hands.
So I had to feed her..........
And try again.........
She had more fun laughing at her sister!
Hanna, Coleman, Sofia and I flew upto Seattle to take Coleman home and for the girls and I to have a week out of the heat. We had such a great time. It was very hard to come home to reality!
